Macungie questions
What Macungie moms ask first.
- What is a Mommy & Me workout class in Macungie?
- A 45-minute structured strength class designed for moms with babies (0–9 months in a carrier or on a mat) and toddlers (9 months–4 years playing alongside). Run by a NASM-CPT, pre/postnatal certified coach. Modifications offered for every exercise, every level — including post-C-section and active diastasis recti.
- Where do the Macungie Mommy & Me classes meet?
- Classes near Macungie run at the regular Babies and Barbells LV studio in Macungie and Allentown. Macungie moms typically drive 10–25 minutes. In-home 1-on-1 sessions are also available for clients who prefer not to travel.
- Do I need to bring my baby to a Mommy & Me class?
- Yes — that's the whole format. Babies and kids are part of the session, not in a separate childcare room. If you'd prefer to train without your kid present, the in-home 1-on-1 service is the better fit.
- What if my baby cries during class?
- Completely fine and completely expected. You step out, feed or soothe, and come back when ready. Nobody minds. Every mom in the room has been in your shoes that morning.
- Can I try a class before committing?
- Yes. Drop in to a single Mommy & Me class — no contracts, no pressure. You can try the format and decide if it's right for you and your baby before committing to a pack.
- Is the coach actually certified to train pregnant or postpartum bodies?
- Yes. Lexi Krieger is NASM-CPT, plus separately pre/postnatal certified — the specialty cert that governs programming around pregnancy, diastasis recti, and pelvic-floor health. Every session is liability-insured.
