Our Babies and Barbells classes are designed for moms with babies and children aged newborn to 6 years old. These group workouts include modifications for every fitness level, whether you’re looking for light movement and social interaction or a more intense, sweat-filled workout. About Your Trainer – Lexi

Lexi Krieger, founder of Babies and Barbells, has been a proud resident of the Lehigh Valley her entire life. Growing up in this vibrant community, she developed a passion for fitness and the benefits of daily movement, which she carried through her collegiate field hockey career. As a mom, Lexi understands the unique challenges mothers face in prioritizing their well-being. Driven by her passion for fitness and her commitment to helping other moms, she combined her MBA and her expertise as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer to create a supportive space for women in the Lehigh Valley and its surrounding areas.

With Babies and Barbells, Lexi offers customized workouts tailored to moms at every stage of motherhood, from postpartum to raising young children. Her classes include modifications for all fitness levels, ensuring a welcoming and accessible environment for both new and seasoned moms. Whether you’re in Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, or any neighboring community, Lexi is here to help you regain your strength, confidence, and energy. She is not only dedicated to physical fitness but also to building a supportive community for local moms who want to bond with their babies while achieving their health goals.

Common FAQs from Moms

There is no experience required to join the class. Each exercise is properly explained to make you as comfortable as possible. Babies and Barbells offer a safe and judgment-free environment for women to embrace motherhood together.  

All children ages newborn through 6 years old are welcome to come to the class! Each mom is responsible for her children so if you feel comfortable exercising with multiple children, they are more than welcome.

The company name is Babies and Barbells meaning Babies always come first. If your child needs attention, you may stop whatever exercise you are doing and tend to your child. This class is meant for moms, and we all understand our children come first.

The only equipment you need for yourself is a mat and water if needed. If you would like to bring any snacks, toys, or drinks for your children, please do so. Other moms have brought blankets and playpens for their small infants.

This class is geared towards every mom’s level. If you are newly postpartum looking for slow movement, or if you are looking for a higher intensity, each level is covered. Every exercise has modifications to make each mom feel comfortable in their body’s ability.

As of now, classes are indoors in a studio room. In the future, classes may take place outside if weather and location is appropriate.

Every studio room is a safe, enclosed space with full visibility of your child. You are welcome to bring toys to keep your child entertained while you exercise.
