Privacy Policy

Information you give us: When you submit the contact form, book a class, or sign up for the newsletter, we collect your name, email, phone (if you provide it), and the message you write. When you book a session, we may collect health-relevant information you choose to share (pregnancy stage, postpartum timeline, prior injuries).

Information collected automatically: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL). Anonymized analytics if you don't opt out (see Analytics below). We do not use behavioral advertising trackers.

Strictly to provide and improve the service. We use your contact information to reply to your message, schedule sessions, and (only if you opted in) send occasional newsletters. We use health information you share solely to plan safe, appropriate training. We never sell your information.

If you sign up for our newsletter, we send periodic emails with training resources, tips, and occasional offers, matched to the life stage and interests you tell us about. You opt in — we never add you without your consent. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link and a link to a preferences page where you can update your stage and interests or unsubscribe entirely. We honor unsubscribe requests promptly. Our emails comply with the US CAN-SPAM Act, including a valid physical mailing address and honest subject lines. We use Resend to deliver email; we do not sell or rent your email address to anyone.

We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service (Vercel Analytics, Plausible, or Google Analytics) to understand which pages are useful. If we use Google Analytics, you can opt out with any standard browser ad-block. We do not run third-party advertising pixels.

Service providers we use to run the site: Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Sanity (content management). Each is bound by their own privacy commitments.

If legally required: We will disclose information when required by valid legal process. We have no obligation to disclose for any other reason.

Contact form messages: stored as long as Lexi needs them to follow up, typically up to 2 years. Newsletter signups: until you unsubscribe — one click in any newsletter email, or from your preferences page. When you unsubscribe we stop sending immediately and flag your record as unsubscribed; we retain the minimal record needed to honor your opt-out (so you aren't re-added) unless you ask us to delete it entirely. Server logs: typically 90 days. Active client records: as long as you are a client, plus 7 years for tax/business purposes.

You are always in control of your newsletter subscription. Every email we send includes a working one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. You can also visit your preferences page at any time to update your life stage and interests, or to unsubscribe. We'll email you a secure link to access it. Unsubscribe requests take effect right away.

You can ask us at any time to: (1) show you the personal information we hold about you, (2) correct it, (3) delete it (subject to legal retention requirements), or (4) export it in a portable, machine-readable format. For newsletter data, you can self-serve from your preferences page. For everything else, email us at lexi@babiesandbarbellslv.com with the subject “Data request” and we'll respond within 30 days. We will not charge you or retaliate for exercising these rights.

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Photos of children attending our classes are only used with explicit written parental permission.

We use standard industry safeguards: TLS everywhere, encrypted databases, scoped API access. No internet system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures and will notify you promptly if any breach affects your data.

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the effective date at the top and post a notice on the homepage for 30 days. Continued use of the site after changes means acceptance.
